SUPERAGENTS FROM LEADING LUXURY FIRM BRIGGS FREEMAN SOTHEBY’S INTERNATIONAL REALTY ATTEND EXCLUSIVE SUMMIT ON THE FUTURE OF REAL ESTATE
Three top-performing agents from Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty in Dallas and Fort Worth have just returned from Santa Barbara, California, as part of a Sotheby’s International Realty® summit of its most successful agents, nationwide.
Becky Frey, Bernard Uechtritz and John Zimmerman, all with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty and all top producers with more than $100 million each in 2016 sales, attended the annual Leadership Forum, a two-day event focused on best practices, collaboration and strategic growth within the global real-estate space. Held at the historic Belmond El Encanto hotel in Santa Barbara, the intensive meetings and networking events were co-hosted by agent Suzanne Perkins of Sotheby’s International Realty® office Montecito-Coast Village Road Brokerage and agent
Bill Fandel of Telluride Sotheby’s International Realty.
The 45 agents in attendance represented luxury markets throughout California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Texas, Washington state and Washington, D.C. The dynamic symposium was moderated by Liz Bentley, president of Liz Bentley Associates, a nationally recognized performance consultancy whose clients include Microsoft, IBM, Wells Fargo and Citibank. The retreat kicked off with an intimate cocktail reception and opening-night dinner on the Channel Islands Terrace on the top floor of the Belmond El Encanto. The following day, a full agenda of meetings and breakout sessions concluded with a reception and estate tour at one of Perkins’ exceptional listings, the 10-acre 815 Cima del Mundo, listed at $29 million. After sunset, the group transitioned by coach to dinner under the stars on the ocean-view deck of the 19th-century Stonehouse restaurant, set within the magical grounds of San Ysidro Ranch. The forum’s final day concluded with a private estate tour of the historic Villa Santa Barbara, owned by beloved comedian, author and multi-Emmy-winning television host
Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Australian-American actress Portia de Rossi. The exquisite estate is listed by Perkins for $45 million.
