A lot of people are taking their $20-thousand per child per year that they pay for private schools and applying it to a mortgage in the Park Cities. With more cottages available for sale now (cottages are not being torn down by builders like they were in past years)…getting in the Park Cities is more afordable.
Here is an article that explains the growing numbers of kids starting school in the Highland Park school system:

This is going to be one of the greatest things that happens to Dallas of our time: The Performing Arts Center has raised an unspeakable amount of money in private donations to fulfill a 30 year dream in completing new arts venues for music, performances, lectures, education and entertainment in Dallas’ Arts District. It is now a reality and the AT&T Performing Arts Center celebrates it’s Grand Opening starting October 12th.
You can click here for more information, but, I want to remind you to save the date of October 18th to spend it in the Arts District with friends and family. All the venues are open to the public and free entertainment all day long throughout the district – this is the day to see all of this incredible new architecture. Fireworks are in the plans and then Hunter Sullivan and his 14-piece band have a free concert in the Plaza at One Arts until 10pm.
See you there!
