I’m happy to see that in HP/UP there are smaller homes being sold and not torn down. For the past few years most of the homes priced under $600k were bought by builders and torn down for new large homes which was making it difficult for first time buyers to get into the park cities for schools. Now I’m seeing builders selling the cottages they had in their inventory, estate properties and just cute smaller homes being purchased to restore/expand. Is this a silver lining to the real estate market we are in? I think so! Want to see an example check out this house I have open at 3612Mockingbird today ( jan 25 1-3pm) on a 185 foot deep lot – now that is a backyard.
